Alison Doody
Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland, is a model and actor. Her debut in a feature film was a tiny role in The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). In the following film, she portrayed Nazi-sympathising Archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan Donnevan is in A Prayer for the Dying (1997), Charlotte Taffin (1988), and Rebecca Flannery Major League II (1994) also play roles. Doody began her modeling career after her being approached by a hopeful photographer. She has since transformed into commercial modeling. Doody did not shy away from glamour or sexually explicit work. This was a policy allowed her to pursue an acting career. Having come to the attention to the director of casting for the upcoming James Bond film she accepted a small part as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. Doody's name appeared within John Willis Screen World Vol. 12 of the most promising new actors of 1986. 38. Doody was still only aged 18 when she made her debut in the Bond part.
